The latest update to LoginTC Managed, our on-premises MFA solution, introduces new tools for administrators to make enrollment more flexible. Similar to the previous update, this update brings LoginTC Managed closer in line with the Cloud deployment offering of LoginTC.
Let’s take a look at what the latest features have to offer.

There are many ways to enroll users in LoginTC Managed, including through enrollment email or user self-enrollment. However, there are many use cases in which administrators need to play an active role in enrollment, even to enroll a user’s authentication tokens.
Currently in LoginTC Managed, Hardware Tokens, FIDO2 keys, Phone for SMS, and bypass codes can be generated by administrators in a user’s profile. The latest update adds two more authentication methods that administrators can inline enroll on behalf of their users: Software Tokens and Passcode Grids.
Administrators can now add a Software Token to a user directly from the LoginTC Managed Admin Panel.
In a user’s profile page, administrators can scroll down to Software Tokens and click “Add Software Token”.
This will generate a QR code that the user can scan using the LoginTC Managed Authenticator App to load the token to their smartphone device. Users can also load the token using the generated Key.
This functionality allows administrators to take a more active role in enrolling software tokens to their end users phones for use cases in which that is necessary.
The same enrollment functionality has been added for Passcode Grid authentication.
Administrators can download the generated Passcode Grid and distribute it to the end user as needed.
The latest update also introduces more capabilities for the LoginTC APIs. Now administrators can manage groups using APIs, including functions to create a new group, update an existing group, or delete a group.
Finally, the latest update of LoginTC Managed also adds Spanish language support in more places. Spanish can now be selected as an optional language for the enrollment portal. Spanish can also be used to send Email one-time-passcodes (OTPs) to end users.
LoginTC Managed version 2.1.7 can be downloaded by contacting support for all existing LoginTC Managed Organizations.
